Introducing Devx Software
We are a Brazilian software product company. This post explains what that means in practice — and what we don't do.

Devx Software is a product company. The phrase sounds obvious, but it shapes almost everything about how we work, so it's worth explaining.
Product, not projects
A project company sells hours: it gets a scope, delivers a system and moves on to the next client. A product company picks a problem, builds a solution for it and stays responsible for it after launch — fixing, improving and, sometimes, admitting that something didn't work.
We chose the second model. That means:
- We decide what to build. Every product starts from a problem we believe software can solve better than the current alternatives.
- We stand behind what we ship. Each product's status is public, as is its change history.
- We don't do custom development. We are not an agency, a software house or a consultancy.
Where we are now
Three products are in development: Lúmen, for document intelligence with privacy as a design requirement; Pixouly, for recurring billing via Pix Automático for subscription businesses; and FinSight AI, for AI-powered financial management for small and medium-sized businesses. Other projects are in research and prototyping and will only appear on the site once they have something concrete to show.
What you'll find here
This site will follow the company in real time: products with their true status, a changelog of what changed, engineering posts about the decisions we make. No made-up numbers, no testimonials from customers we don't have yet.
If you have a problem you think software should solve, the contact page goes straight to the team.
